On July 26, Russian cosmonauts Sergey Kud-Sverchkov and Sergei Mikaev returned to Earth together with American astronaut Chris Williams. The Soyuz MS-28 spacecraft landed safely by parachute in the steppe of Kazakhstan, southeast of Zhezkazgan.
The crew spent 241 days in space. During that time, its members completed 3,856 orbits around Earth and travelled more than 164 million kilometres. It was the first spaceflight for Williams and Mikaev and the second for Kud-Sverchkov.
